Abraham Abramson (1752 or 1754 – 28 July 1811) was a Prussian coiner and medallist. Born into a Jewish family, he later converted to Christianity. ==Life== Son of the coiner Jacob Abraham, like him Abramson belonged to the court of Frederick the Great, and he also was the first Jew integrating the Prussian Academy of Arts.〔http://www.david.juden.at/kulturzeitschrift/61-65/64-Stephani.htm〕 Abramson created most of the famous medals of Prussia of the time. He depicted among others Immanuel Kant, Gotthold Ephraim Lessing, Moses Mendelssohn, Christoph Martin Wieland, Johann Georg Sulzer and Leonhard Euler.
